Hello everyone, I am Yang Yang.
It's a great pleasure to be here for yours, mine, and our Honor.
Actually, Honor and I are kind of bounded by fate somehow.
"Honor" was in the title of several of my drama works.
Some friends even jokingly @ my name with Honor's CEO Zhao.
And, now, I'm here.

There's a phrase I really like.

YY performed so well at the Honor 90 product launching event. He was so natural. Many (male) tech influencers around me turned fans and they all said he's too handsome. He is the most down-to-earth celebrity spokesperson of high tech brands I've ever seen. Not "one of", but he IS the Best.
Dear Lord! My Goodness! Although there are many spokespersons for the various cell phone companies, YY was the best! His reaction at the event, interaction with fans and the MC, and his professional level were all top notch.
This time he even directly took picture for the fans at the event. That was too cool!
Let's take a look at how high quality spokesperson control the event atmosphere. Whether the speech at the beginning, his understanding of the product, or demonstration of product usage, he really put in effort to studied every detail. He was quick in taking picture on stage and making the emoticons. To be honest, being a digital blogger myself, I was not as familiar with the phone as he was. This shows he really has been using Honor 90 phone recently. He really put his heart to it.
I didn't record the part where he took pictures for the fans. But YY really did well and aim the camera at the direction where most of his fans were, which happened to be where I was. Fans around me were all going crazy (haha), screaming non-stop. At the end, when Ming brother (CEO?) finished talking, he was able to follow up naturally and was able to capture the main ideas. Honor really found a spokesperson that's worth it. This is the best spokesperson I've ever seen among the many product launching events I've attended. Not "one of the best", but The Best. Being a passerby, I felt I'm kind of becoming his fan now. I am planning to watch his drama "Glory of Special Force".
His fans at the event also did their homework and could answer all the questions without any difficulties. They even knew what Hz Honor 90 series phones' high frequency dimming frequency was. It was at 3840 Hz, but I did not know initially. I thought the fans were wrong, because previously it was usually 1920 Hz or 2160 Hz. This time, Honor 90 was the first in the world to develop 3840 Hz zero risk dimming screen. The fans knew about this before I did. When asked about how many works of YY's were related to Honor? Actually, answering 3 should be sufficient, but the fans could immediately say the names of the glory trilogy. 100% answer!!
YY is a very responsible spokesperson. He said what he needed to say.
He was sincere on stage, and his interaction with the MC was really good, too.

Honor found the right spokesperson this time!!! Handsome and capable of handling conversation. Two fans that had the luck from heaven got the opportunity to have their pictures taken by YY.
I've seen many product launch events and many spokespersons, but YY, being the spokesperson for Honor 90, is the most dedicated and most cooperative spokesperson I've ever seen. Especially the speech at the beginning; he prepared really well. He really has good skills in delivering his lines. Other stars just read the caption provided, and some of them couldn't even read the caption fluently...
Let me share a bit of my random thoughts... I am the family of previous Huawei employee (see the end of this post for history between Huawei and Honor), so I was able to get a VIP ticket through some connections, sitting around a group of high level people (leaders from Honor and Wanda Long...etc.). After the product launching event ended, 10+ high level managers gathered together to discuss Yang Yang. They felt how he gestured the fans to quiet down when leaving the venue showed that he has very good manners, and his business capability is very good. He is very likable. They said they didn't have any special feelings about him before, but now they really like him. When I walked from the front toward the back, I heard 3 groups of guys discussing how professional and dedicated YY was. As a fan (wool), I felt so proud!! I am also grateful to the young guy in Honor who gave me the ticket. He told me today's event is a "break-out-the-circle" event (meaning that YY is not only liked by his fans (inside the fan circle), but people from outside the circle is falling for him, too.). As a fan (wool), I felt YY made me soooo proud.... do you understand this feeling?! p.s. I suppose everybody in their entire company is using YY's emoticons now!
YY is the spokesperson for Honor 90 series. I felt this was the most gentle, most dedicated, and most interactive, and most effective product launching event ever.
And he really is very handsome!

To be honest, YY is really truly handsome! I also heard many guys screaming~~
I can't help but think that Honor really found themselves a great spokesperson.
First of all, YY's work and the Honor brand have a certain level of connections.
Secondly, YY really is handsome. His good-look is well approved by the public.
Most importantly, he was highly cooperative, had quick on-the-spot responses, was really familiar with the phone, and interacted with the audience really well, didn't make the event atmosphere get cold.
The guy sitting next to me said of all the cell phone launching events he's attended, YY was the star who interacted with the audience for the longest time. YY is a high quality spokesperson.
When YY return the mic to Mr. Zhao Ming (CEO) so Zhao could announce the price of the phones, he got off the stage from the side where his fans were seated. His fans couldn't control but screamed and cheered. But then he gestured everybody to quiet down by putting his index finger in front of his lips, so Mr. Zhao could continue to announce the sales price. Then, he waved and left the venue.
This part was not recorded/shown in the live streaming, so not many people knew about it. But I was there at the event. And I admit, at that moment, I became his fan.
I didn't know such kind and caring star exists!

* Story about the "2nd Startup" of Honor.
In short, Honor was a one of the product line under Huawei company (a big high tech company in China that designs and manufactures telecommunication equipments, consumer electronics, smart devices...etc.). But in 2020, due to US trade sanction, Huawei sold Honor to another company. So, from that point on, Honor became completely independent from Huawei. And Honor was no longer a product line or a model under Huawei brand's phones. Honor became its own brand. Mr. Zhao Ming took Honor from being a new company to becoming a successful global brand! This split from Huawai in 2020 was probably why they said it's a 2nd time startup!
Here's an article from 2022 that kind of talked about the history of Honor. No wonder YY was moved by the story of Honor. Starting up a business is indeed a very daunting task. And I think Mr. Zhao Ming and Honor had a very nice story to tell! Of course, the products mentioned in the article are out-of-date, since it was an old article. But we all know the latest product is Honor 90 Series^_^
