Everything in this world
contains deep meanings
The so-called "Da Dao (Great Way/the way of things)" is invisible and abstract
There is actually not one correct answer only
What is the "way" of each person
It has to be defined by himself/herself in the end

[TIA
Cultivation of Heart: BTS Special]
[When did this all begin]
[Producer/Scriptwriter Wang YuRen]
The original of TIA is actually
a very famous novel that has been serialized on the internet for many years
The entire serialization cycle lasted for more than ten years
Many of our main creators are book-pals
who's been following the series online for years
In 2017 or 2018
we worked with the author Mr. Wang
and had a creating plan for the
IP of TIA
From the novel chapters to animation to live-action drama version
The entire IP development process
All of this actually stemmed from a love for the original work
Original novel fans would feel this is the same as what I read
Reversed Five Elements Array

[A Heart of Taoism Hidden in Mortal Bones]
We often called it "socialistic/social XianXia"
that is, it's separated into two parts: mortal and cultivation
The mortal portion talks about his origin/upbringing
His struggle/fight, his growth
and his simple value
when he faced difficulties and crises later on
Whether from upgrading his skills
or from his pursuit of freedom
they all showed
a quality that is very representative of the Chinese people

Follow the nature of all things
Control
the change of 6 qi (陰陽晦明風雨 =cloudy, sunny, dark, bright, wind, rain)

Initially, we didn't think it could be made into a live-action drama so soon
The structure of novels and the need for concrete imagery in film and television
are difficult to express in a live-action film or TV way
Our first visual adaptation is an animation
Starting from 2020
over the span of 5 years
accumulated more than 150 episodes
with close to 4 billion views
It has a place in the domestic animation market
We al thought it was time to
present an authentic Xianxia style work

[Light and Shadow Build the Immortal Path]
I actually have been writing TIA scripts
for about 5~6 years already
What I have been pondering the most was
how to better present this kind of XianXia conception
in a live-action work

In our TIA
how do these immortals live their daily lives
bit by bit
All these
we actually should let Han Li witness them as a bystander

Our team has been
working together for more than ten years

From planning to filming to completion of TIA
it took almost an entire year
It was a difficult process for the production team
In terms of framing
we tried to use real scenes as much as possible
use the big nature
To embody a fantasy of traveling between the heaven and earth
Of course, this is the "real/concrete" portion
Then, there is the "unreal" portion
special effects, for example
including the Five Elements Array
including the battle with the inky serpent
the big battle at the palace
the battle with the white jade spider
these are designs derived from animation
[visual effect director: Yang Zhi]
The total visual effect is about 1,100 minutes
The number of cameras/lenses/shots is about 22,000 <-- not sure if he meant the physical # of camera or how many takes/shots?
In addition, we also put a lot of thought into
the music and sound effects
Not only did we have new music created
[Music writer: Shen BiAng]
but we also included many familiar melodies
from the animation version
[Voice/sound director: Yu YongQi]
There are also all kinds of cultivation devices and spells
And lots of sounds from the nature
This time, whether from
sound or music
all the designs we made
is a very big upgrade
this is what we see as an important point
[color director: Xu Sheng]
CG restoration and real-life texture
and smoothness
and the degree of 3D restoration
need to establish a kind of connection to the audience
Hope to bring you an immersive experience of cultivating immortals

[A ordinary body but a unique ambition]
During the development process of
the IP of TIA
we've always been thinking
how to make
this treasure representing Chinese Xianxia literature
visible to more people
We hope, through the live-action performance,
more audience can get to know
the world Han Li lives
and the simple and very Chinese XianXai culture

Every one of us is an ordinary on our life journey
The term "cultivation" actually represents many meanings
Every second we fight
every day we live
every time we meet and part with these important people
these are all
so-called "cultivation"
